Rapid Compression Expansion Machine (RCEM) <for research, universities, and student experiments>
Introducing a device that features a one-time combustion! It allows experiments to be conducted without being affected by residual gas!
The "Rapid Compression Expansion Machine (RCEM)" is a device designed for measuring and visualizing compression and expansion in engines. The engine is rotated by a motor, and compression and combustion can be performed once at any desired timing, allowing experiments to be conducted without the influence of residual gases. An encoder attached to the crankshaft captures the angle, enabling free setting of valve closing timing, fuel injection start timing, fuel injection duration, and ignition timing. 【Features】 ■ Engine Structure - Yanmar diesel engine L70V with the head removed - Extended piston and specially designed cylinder - Cylinder head is installed ■ The valve is dual-purpose for intake and exhaust, held open by a stopper ■ The extended piston has a φ58 quartz glass window for visualization ■ Images reflected by a mirror between the extended pistons can be captured using high-speed cameras, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
