The "Rapid Compression Expansion Machine (RCEM)" is a device designed for measuring and visualizing compression and expansion in engines. The engine is rotated by a motor, and compression and combustion can be performed once at any desired timing, allowing experiments to be conducted without the influence of residual gases.
